Introducing...Bad Gyal Shi Shi
The artist and entertainer known as Bad Gyal Shi Shi, has become an international brand for female empowerment in music. With her fierce style of contemporary dancehall mixed with traditional reggae rhythms, she commands the stage with prominence and versatility. A musical product of Chicago, Illinois but born of Morrocan heritage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was Inspired by artists such as reggae and dancehall sensations Buju Banton, Stephlon Don, Alkaline, Dexter Dapp, as well as other artists Lauryn Hill,Wiz Kid, and J Cole. Through her infectious vibes, she wants to convey spirits of hope, change, courage and faith. Her cultrul diverse sound can be showcased on her single releases of the songs "Oh Boy" and "Too Fine".
Her journey into music started at the early age of two, when she started performing. Through her stages of life, she credits the most high as her inspairation to take her music and career as far as the spirit allows. She also wants to bring forth unity and she believes that music has no limits or boundaries. Her personal mantra includes a quote saying, "Making Dreams Reality!!” Her plans genuinely transcend beyond music while studying improv acting with Tyler Perry alumni Actor Rodney Perry. Currently she has performed musically at Sweet Auburn Festival and most notably at 1st Annual Carribean Fest in Atlanta, Ga. Bad Gyal Shi Shi continues to expand her brand also by becoming an on-air personality on live radio for the station 89.1 FM. Shi Shi ‘s “New Music Tuesday” radio show pays gratitude to Indie artist acrosss the globe by offering a platform for their music to be heard . She has her heights set indefinitely on being a dominant force in the world of entertainment!
